USC Trojans Betting Preview
The Trojans got off to a nice start this year, beating Missouri State, Georgia Southern, Purdue and Michigan State before a loss to Illinois. USC went 3-1 over the next four, losing to Notre Dame among wins versus Michigan, Nebraska and Northwestern. In the 38-17 win over the Wildcats, the Trojans put up points in every quarter—including double-digits in two of them. The offense managed 482 total yards with 24 first downs and 7.5 yards per play. Defensively USC held the Wildcats to 280 yards, 13 first downs and 4-of-12 on third-down tries.
In their Saturday matchup with Iowa, USC was in trouble at the break facing a 21-10 deficit. The Trojans woke up on a 16-0 run from there though, ultimately powering out a 26-21 comeback victory at home. QB Jayden Maiava had a 23-of-32 line for 254 yards and a score. King Miller led the rush on 19 carries for 83 yards and Bryan Jackson had four totes for 14 yards and two touchdowns. Lead receiver Makai Lemon caught 10 balls for 153 yards and a touchdown.
Oregon Ducks Betting Preview
Over on the Ducks’ side, they rolled past Montana State, Oklahoma State, Northwestern, Oregon State and Penn State before a loss to Indiana on October 11. Oregon followed that up with wins over Rutgers, Wisconsin and Iowa in the next trio. In the 18-16 escape on the road versus Iowa, Oregon scored in every quarter—including 10 in the second. The offense gained 373 total yards with 261 rush yards, 6.5 yards per play and 19 first downs but went just 3-of-10 on third downs. Defensively Oregon had two fumble recoveries and 18 first downs allowed.
Matched up versus Minnesota on Friday, the Ducks jumped out to a 28-6 first-half lead. Oregon cruised from there in a 42-13 blowout victory at home. QB Dante Moore had 306 yards and two scores on a 27-of-30 line and lead rusher Noah Whittington had 72 yards and a score on eight carries. Kenyon Sadiq put up eight catches for 96 yards and a touchdown as well.

USC vs Oregon Prediction
I’ll just stay with Oregon here. The Ducks beat a pretty decent Minnesota team last Friday—and beat them badly. Oregon had 510 yards in that one with 8.1 yards per play, 27 first downs and a 6-of-9 success rate on third-down tries. Meanwhile the defense gave up just 200 yards on the other side with 3.5 yards per play and 13 first downs. There were no takeaways there but it hardly mattered. Oregon had scored fewer than 22 points in three of their previous four games, so the 42 points were a welcome sight on the scoreboard in the blowout win.
As for USC, they had a scare versus Iowa over the weekend but pulled off the home win thanks to a strong second half. The Trojans finished with 360 yards, 5.7 yards per play, 21 first downs and 5-of-10 on third-down tries. That makes 21 or more points in every game so far for the Trojans. This will be a tough matchup to keep that streak going, but it’ll be a fun one to watch regardless.
