UAB hasn’t had the easiest schedule in the world, but it’s shown no signs of life defensively and can’t run the football. Those are bad traits when trying to win on the road. FAU has similar issues on the defensive side, but it’s been competitive overall during the last month and is led by the best passing offense in the country. It’s the one major advantage, and it leads me to believe the Owls should be able to put up points in this spot, given just how bad UAB is defensively. The over is worth a look, but we’re laying less than a touchdown with FAU at home. Give me Florida Atlantic to win back-to-back games for the first time this season.
