Towson Tigers Betting Preview
Towson has been out on the field twice already this year. First came an opener game versus Maine. The Tigers gave up 21 points in the second quarter and couldn’t come back, eventually losing 21-18. QB Andrew Indorf was 15-of-21 for 267 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in the losing effort for Towson.
In game two versus Navy last weekend, Towson was down 28-12 by the end of the first half. The Tigers gave up points in every quarter during a 42-15 blowout road loss. Indorf was 13-of-18 for 208 yards and two scores this time, and lead receiver Aaron Enterline caught two balls for 69 yards and a touchdown.
South Carolina Gamecocks Betting Preview
Over on the South Carolina side, they posted a pretty rough season in 2025, going just 4-8 overall. The Gamecocks were only 1-7 in Southeastern Conference play, which put the team ahead of only Arkansas in the standings. South Carolina finished off the year on a 1-6 skid, posting a win over only Coastal Carolina in that time.
Matched up against Kent State in their opener last weekend, South Carolina scored double-digit points in three of four quarters on the way to a 57-0 blowout shutout win. LaNorris Sellers was 19-of-23 for 270 yards and three scores, and Jabree Coleman led the rushing attack with four carries for 77 yards and two scores.

Towson vs South Carolina Prediction
I’ll stay with South Carolina but the line’s too thick to mess with. The Gamecocks had very little issue with an overmatched Kent State team in their opener. South Carolina bagged 645 yards (278 rushing), 9.0 yards per play, 35 first downs and a stellar 7-of-8 success rate on third downs. The defense gave up just 179 yards, 3.7 yards per play and 10 first downs on the other side. Granted, Towson will be a tougher opponent—but it won’t be that big of a jump.
Speaking of Towson, they got demolished on the ground by Navy, giving up 506 rushing yards and 30 first downs. The Tigers mustered just 13 first downs and 2-for-8 on third-down tries themselves, managing to hold the ball for just 20:10 of game time. This weekend won’t get a whole lot easier, but we may see a better performance comparatively from Towson.
