I’ll stay with the Aggies. Texas A&M didn’t have much trouble versus a good Missouri team in their last outing, rumbling to 512 total yards (236 rushing), 20 first downs, and a nice 7-of-12 on third-down tries. Defensively the Aggies gave up just 254 yards (186 passing) and 13 first downs. The only real blemish was the 10 penalties for 79 yards.
As for Mississippi State, last weekend they notched a good showing against a great Georgia team. The Bulldogs posted 385 yards (306 passing) but went just 2-of-12 on third-down tries. Mississippi State also gave up 605 yards (459 passing) on the other side. Texas A&M is going to be another tough customer, and I don’t think Mississippi State will quite get there.
