I’ll lean toward Akron but I’m not touching it. The Zips couldn’t stay near Wake Forest in their opener, logging a tepid 6-of-14 success rate on third downs with 4.4 yards per play. Akron gave up 559 yards on defense with 8.2 yards per play and 20 first downs. Not even Wake Forest’s 11 penalties for 115 yards helped much. All of that said, the Zips should match up a lot better in this one.

As for Rob Morris, they had a pretty ho-hum matchup versus West Virginia State last weekend and won accordingly. The Colonials went just 5-of-14 on third-down tries but otherwise didn’t do too many things poorly. We’ll see what Robert Morris looks like against a comparatively more formidable opponent. The line’s plenty thick enough for the Colonials to get in there.
