Portland State vs Oregon Prediction
I’ll just stay with Oregon but the line’s way too thick to mess with. The Ducks need to bounce back after their rough loss to Oklahoma State and this is a good spot to do it. Oregon managed just 12 first downs, 5-of-14 on third-down tries and 281 total yards (191 passing) in that loss but still managed to score 31 points. The defense had a couple of picks and held the Cowboys to just 5-of-17 on third downs but also surrendered 237 rushing yards and 6.7 yards per play.
As for Portland State, they gave up a whopping 627 yards (336 passing) with 28 first downs and 9.2 yards per play allowed in the loss to North Dakota. The Vikings weren’t horrible on offense with 344 yards, 5.1 yards per play and 20 first downs but it was a tall task to keep up. This weekend isn’t going to get any easier.
