Missouri Tigers Betting Preview
Missouri opened the year on a nice run, but it’s been a struggle recently amid some very tough matchups. The Tigers beat Central Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, South Carolina and UMass in their first five games. Since then it’s been a 2-4 run with wins over Auburn and Mississippi State. Otherwise the losses have come versus Alabama, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M and Oklahoma, giving Missouri a 7-4 overall record through 11 games this year.
In their matchup versus Oklahoma last weekend, the Tigers held an early 3-0 lead but were trailing by halftime. Missouri didn’t score in the second half, limping to a 17-6 loss in the end. Beau Pribula finished 20-of-36 for 231 yards and two picks, while Ahmad Hardy had 57 yards on 17 carries as the top rusher, and Kevin Coleman had 115 yards on seven receptions.
Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Preview
Over on the Arkansas side, they were able to win their first two games this year over Alabama A&M and Arkansas State. After that came a string of losses however. The Razorbacks fell versus Ole Miss, Memphis, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Auburn, Mississippi State and LSU in the next eight outings. That would give Arkansas a rough 2-8 run across the first 10 games of the season.
Matched up against Texas last weekend, the Razorbacks gave up double-digit points in each of the first three quarters (but scored in every quarter themselves) during a 52-37 loss. QB KJ Jackson was 16-of-29 for 206 yards and a score while also rushing in a TD. Mike Washington added 105 yards and a TD on 17 carries. Rohan Jones caught five balls for 82 yards.

Missouri vs Arkansas Prediction
I’ll lean toward Missouri. The Tigers need to bounce back after a tough loss versus Oklahoma last weekend, though. Missouri couldn’t find much offense in that one, posting 301 yards with 4.2 yards per play, 19 first downs, 3-of-15 on third downs and two picks. The defense was pretty good though, giving up 276 yards, 4.5 yards per play and just 14 first downs. Missouri has been below 18 points in three of the last four games, but to be fair they’ve also played some very tough teams in that time.
As for Arkansas, they committed nine penalties and had a couple of turnovers in their loss to Texas on Saturday. The defense gave up 393 pass yards, 8.3 yards per play and 8-of-12 on third-down tries as well. The Razorbacks have 22 or more points in five straight games, but they’ve been giving up a lot of points on the other side—hence the losing streak.
