Louisville Cardinals Betting Preview

The Louisville Cardinals are 7-4 (4-4) this season after they lost to SMU by a score of 38-6 in their last game. Louisville cut the deficit to 7-3 in the first quarter, but they allowed 31 of the last 34 points in the blowout loss. The Cardinals were out gained by a total of 485-228, went 3-12 on third downs, and lost the turnover battle by a total of 1-0 in the game. Deuce Adams went 12-17 for 94 yards, while Shaun Boykins Jr rushed eight times for 52 yards. Chris Bell led the receivers with five receptions for 46 yards in the loss.

Kentucky vs Louisville Prediction

Louisville comes into this matchup trying to snap a three game losing streak and they were dominated last week against SMU. The Cardinals have scored just 25 points in their last two games and they are dealing with an injury to their starting quarterback. Kentucky has won three of their last four games, but they did allow 45 points to Vanderbilt last week. The Wildcats need to win this game to gain bowl eligibility and I think this game is very winnable for them. It is tough to know if Moss will play or not, but I am going to assume he is out.
