I’ll lean toward Akron. The Zips played a pretty sloppy game (nine penalties) in their win over Eastern Michigan—and nearly gave away a big lead—but found a way to finish. Akron came up with 220 rush yards (378 total) and 6.6 yards per play along the way. It was a much-needed win to stop a four-game slide, but it also means that Akron has given up 20 or more points in every game so far.
As for Buffalo, they gave up quite a bit (489 yards) to a pretty good Ohio team in their latest loss. The Bulls allowed 8.2 yards per play and 22 first downs, responding with 5.3 yards per play and a couple of turnovers themselves. The good news for the Bulls is that they should have some good scoring chances here, but I think Akron can keep pace for a cover/win at home.
