Memphis vs Navy Prediction
I’ll probably just stick with Memphis. The Tigers weren’t perfect against Florida State last weekend but still pulled off a nice road win. Memphis’ defense was pretty darn good overall with 238 yards allowed (201 passing), 11 first downs, three takeaways, and a 2-of-12 clip allowed on third downs. It was the Tigers’ lowest-scoring outing of the year so far, though—for whatever that’s worth.
As for Navy, they’ve got a couple of solid wins in the books thus far and had an extra week to prep for this game. In the Temple matchup, the Midshipmen had a nice offensive day with 409 yards (297 rushing) and 17 first downs. It’s not going to be quite so easy to move the ball against the Tigers, however.
Andrew’s Pick Memphis Tigers -12.5
