Samford Recap
The Samford Bulldogs come into this one looking to bounce back from a season-opening 38-29 loss to West Georgia in their last game. After this game, Samford heads home to take on Alabama State.

- The road team has covered the spread in each of Florida's last three games.
Florida Recap

- Florida has covered the spread in six of its last eight games against non-FBS teams.
Samford vs. Florida Prediction
I’m on the under here. I don’t think we see a ton of scoring from Samford here, but this also feels like a clear sandwich spot for me with the Florida Gators. A bit of a lull spot after their beating at the hands of Miami with a lookahead to Texas A&M next week, one has to wonder if this game has Florida’s full attention both in game and in the practice leading up to this game. I think this is a tricky spot, and it wouldn’t surprise me if Florida covered or didn’t either way. Give me the under here.
