Kevin Jennings stepped in for Preston Stone in the AAC title game, and came thru with 203 yards and a touchdown to two interceptions. The true freshman quarterback has received game action throughout the season, and if Stone’s unable to go, he will get the nod at Fenway.
Miami transfer Jaylan Knighton scored in five of the final six games, and he leads SMU in rushing yards (720).
Sophomore tight end RJ Maryland had a five-game touchdown stretch prior to Thanksgiving weekend, he leads SMU in receiving yards (518) on 34 catches.

Boston College Eagles Preview

Boston College comes in at 6-6 after losing to Miami in their season finale, 45-20. The Eagles were unable to get much going on Senior Day, and they’ll look to regroup with a special hometown advantage on Thursday. The BC offense is scoring 25.1 ppg, while passing for 189.2 ypg, rushing for 195.5 ypg, and converting 41.1% of their third downs.

BC Team Notes

Thomas Castellanos struggled again versus Miami, only finishing with 151 yards and a touchdown to two picks. The former UCF quarterback has felt the effects of the ACC this season, and after tossing multiple turnovers in the final three games, it’s unclear if he’ll be able to capitalize on the hometown spot BC. Castellanos has totaled 2,146 passing yards, with 15 touchdowns to 13 interceptions, and he leads BC in rushing with 957 yards and eleven scores.
WKU transfer Kye Robichaux reached the 110-yard mark in three of the final five games, and he leads the backfield with 691 rushing yards on 150 touches.
Chicago native Lewis Bond scored in the last two contests against Pitt and Miami, and he leads BC in receptions (48) and receiving yards (611).
