Another Awful Season Almost Over for Vanderbilt

At some point Vanderbilt will turn around their program, but that hasn’t happened yet, and if this year was any indication they are still a couple of years away. In the last game against South Carolina, Vanderbilt only scored six points and they ended up losing in blowout fashion. Quarterback Ken Seals completed 13 of his 28 passes for 104 yards, one touchdown, and zero interceptions. Vanderbilt on the season is averaging 22.7 points while their defense is giving up 35.1 points per game. If they want any chance to keep this game close, they are going to need the defense to step up here. 

How Does Tennessee Bounce Back?

Coming into this game Tennessee has really struggled and they have lost two games in a row. Two games ago against Missouri they lost 36-7 and in the last game against Georgia, they were defeated 38-10. The big question heading into this game is how much is freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava going to play here. With Tennessee not playing for a lot the next two games there is thought the team will turn to the freshman quarterback who many believe is the future of this program. On the season the Volunteers are averaging 30 points while their defense is giving up 21.8 points per game.
