Tennessee led 23-17 at the half and they were able to hold off Kentucky’s comeback attempt in the fourth quarter. The Volunteers out gained Kentucky by a total of 481-444 and forced two turnover on downs. Tennessee lost the previous game to Alabama by a score of 34-20, but did win the three games prior to that. The Tennessee offense is scoring 31.8 points per game with 221.8 passing yards per game and 221.8 rushing yards per game, while going 43.5% on third downs. Tennessee comes into this game as a huge favorite to win against a UConn team that only has one win this season. Tennessee is ranked in the Top 25 and they have a very solid offensive attack. UConn is allowing almost 30 points per game and over 400 yards per game on defense, so I expect a huge day from this Tennessee offense. I don’t love either side in this game, as Tennessee may very well treat it similar to a bye week, but I am going to take the under here. I think Tennessee will pull most of their starters early and coast to the finish line. Take the under here.
