Arkansas Preview
The Arkansas Razorbacks are 2-6 (0-5) this year after they lost to Mississippi State by a score of 7-3 in their last game. Arkansas led 3-0 in the first quarter, but they played very poorly the rest of the game and couldn’t score for the loss. The Razorbacks were out gained by a total of 205-200 and turned the ball over twice in the game. Arkansas started the season with two straight wins, but they have lost six games in a row and look like one of the worst teams in the country. The Arkansas offense is scoring 26.8 points per game with 196.9 passing yards per game and 109 rushing yards per game, while going 40% on third downs. KJ Jefferson has led the Razorbacks this season with 1,547 yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Rashod Dubinion has rushed for 260 yards and one touchdown, while Andrew Armstrong has caught 43 passes for 520 yards and four scores. The Arkansas defense is giving up 22.9 points against per game this year.
Florida Preview
The Florida Gators are 5-3 (3-2) this season after they lost to Georgia by a score of 43-20 last week. Florida led 7-0 in the first quarter, but they allowed the next 36 points in the loss. The Gators were out gained by a total of 486-339 and went 0-2 on fourth down conversions in the game. Florida had won their previous two games against South Carolina and Vanderbilt. The Florida offense is averaging 28 points per game with 274.1 passing yards per game and 137.3 rushing yards per game, while going 33.7% on third downs. Graham Mertz has thrown for 2,127 yards, 14 touchdowns, and two interceptions for the Gators this season. Montrell Johnson Jr. has rushed for 520 yards and four scores, while Ricky Pearsall has caught 50 passes for 718 yards and three touchdowns. The Florida defense is allowing 22.9 points against per game this season.

Pick
Arkansas comes into this game after one of the worst performances I have seen from a SEC team in their last game. The Razorbacks only scored three points at home against a bad Mississippi State team in a 7-3 loss and have now lost six games in a row. Florida started the game against Georgia strong, but they fell apart after the first quarter. Florida is the much better offensive team in this matchup, as Arkansas is only averaging 305 yards per game. The Razorbacks have been pretty inconsistent, as they have played Alabama, Ole Miss, and LSU close. Arkansas seems to play better on the road and I think Florida may start slow after the emotional game last week. Take Arkansas with the points.
David’s Pick Arkansas +4.5
