The Miami Hurricanes are 5-2 (1-2) this year after they defeated Clemson by a score of 28-20 in their last game. Miami trailed 17-7 in the fourth quarter, but they were able to tie it up and win in double overtime. The Hurricanes out gained Clemson by a total of 362-345 and forced three turnovers in the win. Prior to the win, Miami had lost two games in a row to Georgia Tech and North Carolina. The Miami offense is averaging 36.3 points per game with 288 passing yards per game and 193.9 rushing yards per game, while going 46.9% on third downs. Tyler Van Dyke has thrown for 1,721 yards, 16 touchdowns, and six interceptions for the Hurricanes this season. Henry Parrish Jr. (questionable) has rushed for 452 yards and four touchdowns, while Xavier Restrepo has caught 54 passes for 600 yards and four scores. The Miami defense is giving up 19.1 points against per game this season.

The Hurricanes were able to snap their two game losing streak and come up with a big win against Clemson last weekend, while Virginia was able to pick up their first FBS win of the year. Virginia was a huge underdog to North Carolina on the road last weekend, but they apparently didn’t care about that and ended up with a big upset win. Miami needed to get back into the win column after the loss to UNC and the epic collapse against Georgia Tech, and they did that in double overtime. Miami is the much better team in this matchup and I don’t think Virginia has another upset in them. Take the Hurricanes at home.
