Florida State Preview

The Florida State Seminoles are 5-0 (3-0) this season after they defeated Virginia Tech by a score of 39-17 in their last game. Florida State led 22-0 after the first quarter, but their lead was trimmed to 22-17, before they pulled away in the second half. Florida State Seminoles Team Facts

  • Florida State has won each of its last 11 games.
  • Florida State has failed to cover the spread in three of its last four home games in October.
  • Each of Florida State's last six games at Doak Campbell Stadium have gone OVER the total points line.

Syracuse Orange Team Facts

  • Syracuse has lost each of its last 11 games as an underdog against AP-ranked teams.
  • Syracuse has covered the spread in eight of its last nine October games against AP-ranked teams.
  • Syracuse has lost the first half in each of its last six games against conference opponents.
  • Each of Syracuse's last five games have gone UNDER the total points line.

Syracuse is in a very rough part of their schedule and they looked pretty bad against UNC last week, while Florida State is looking like one of the best teams in the nation. I really thought Syracuse would play better in conference play, but Clemson and North Carolina pretty much dominated them. Florida State has scored at least 31 points in every game this year, but they do give up some points, so I expect the Orange to score a few touchdowns in this one. Just like last week with Florida State, I am taking the over here.
