Kent State Looks for Second Win

Kent State is looking for their second win of the season after some major struggles early. In the last game against Ohio, the defense again was an issue giving up 42 points and that led to the blowout defeat. Michael Alamio completed 9 of his 13 passes for 107 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. The top rusher was Jaylen Thomas who caught 24 passes for 67 yards. Kent State on the season is averaging 13.3 points while their defense is giving up 35.3 points per game. 

Eastern Michigan Looks for Second Straight Win

Eastern Michigan sits with a  3-3 record overall and they were able to beat Ball State in the last game. Eastern Michigan’s defense locked down giving up only 10 points and that was enough for the 14 point victory. Quarterback Austin Smith completed 18 of his 28 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns. Eastern Michigan is averaging 17.5 points while their defense is giving up 20.3 points per game. When this team has success it’s because the defense usually steps up. In this game it’s going to be important that the defense is good again.

Kent State’s offense is bad and now they have to face off against an Eastern Michigan defense that is really good. Eastern Michigan is going to score enough to win, but I don’t think this is a game where they are really going to score 30 points. This is a game that feels like it will finish 20-7 or 20-10 and that means the under is going to cash. This is one of my favorite plays on the entire board for Saturday.
