Notre Dame is averaging 39.6 points while their defense is giving up 12.8 points per game. On the season Hartman has thrown for 1,236 yards, 14 touchdowns, and zero interceptions. 

Can Duke Make a Big Statement

Duke comes into this game with a 4-0 record and that includes a big win over Clemson in the first game of the season. The defense for this team is elite and on the season they have given up only 35 points total. In the last game against UConn they were able to secure the 42-7 victory. Duke is averaging 37.3 points while their defense is giving up 8.8 points per game. The offense is ranked 28th while the defense is ranked 4th. Under center for Duke is Riley Leonard and he has thrown for 778 yards and two touchdowns.

Duke is going to keep this game close. This Duke defense is elite and Notre Dame’s offense really struggled to move the ball against Ohio State. Duke is going to step up here and make really tough on the Notre Dame offense. Notre Dame is going to struggle to reach 14 points again here. I also think Duke might struggle to move the ball a bit but they are going to do enough to keep this game close, and maybe even pull the upset. Back Duke to cover the spread.
