How Much Longer will Texas A&M put up with Jimbo Fisher?

When Jimbo Fisher was hired by Texas A&M they expected many championships, but now this team doesn’t even look like it will compete for SEC Championships. In the first game against Texas A&M, New Mexico only scored 10 points and that led to the 42 point victory. In the last game against Miami though, Texas A&M scored 33 points, but the defense gave up 48 points and that led to the 15 point defeat. Under center for Texas A&M is Connor Weigman and he completed 31 of his 53 passes for 336 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. In this game the defense is going to need to step up in a big way here. 

Louisiana-Monroe Needs to Score More

Louisiana-Monroe comes into this game with a 2-0 record overall but the offense hasn’t been that great. In the first game against Army, Louisiana-Monroe secured the 17-14 victory. In the last game against Lamar, Louisiana-Monroe was able to secure the 24-14 victory. The game wasn’t actually all that close and they gave up the 14 points in the 4th quarter. Quarterback Hunter Herring completed 12 of his 21 passes for only 99 yards. Isaiah Woullard finished with 14 carries for 113 yards. In this game of the course the defense is going to need to be good, but they also need to find a way to get the offense going here. Herring is going to need to have a big game here if the Warhawks want any chance to keep this game close.

Texas A&M thinks the way to make a statement is to beat up on a Louisiana-Monroe team that doesn’t have a good offense, and that’s exactly what they are going to do here. Woullard isn’t the answer at quarterback for Louisiana-Monroe and they are going to really struggle to get the offense going here. Texas A&M is going to have no answer running up the score here, and that is going to be the difference here as Texas A&M gets the job done here.
