The Iowa State Cyclones and TCU Horned Frogs face off on Saturday in a college football showdown at Amon G. Carter Stadium. When these two teams faced off last year it was Iowa State that secured the 48-14 victory. 

Iowa State comes into this game with a 4-7 record and they have gone 4-6-1 against the spread. Iowa State has been nothing but a disappointment and they are coming off another loss in the last game. TCU is only two wins away from making the college football playoff, something no expected at the beginning of the season. In the last game against Baylor they almost lost but a field goal as time expired secured the one-point win. TCU is averaging 39.5 points while their defense is giving up 25.5 points per game. Quarterback Max Duggan has thrown for 2,858 yards, 26 touchdowns, and three interceptions.

Iowa State is 2-5-1 against the spread in their last eight games. TCU is 8-2-1 against the spread in their last 11 games. The home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings. Iowa State is 5-1 against the spread in the last six meetings. 

TCU knows how much is riding on this game and they are going to be focused heading into this game. This Iowa State offense isn’t good, and they aren’t going to magically start to get any better in this game. Max Duggan is going to have a huge game for TCU, and Iowa State won’t be keeping up.
