Western Kentucky at Auburn - 11/19/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and Auburn Tigers face off on Saturday in a college football showdown at Jordan-Hare. This is the first meeting between the two teams in recent years. 

Auburn sits with a 4-6 record but they are coming off a victory in the last game. Auburn’s defense only gave up 10 points in the last game against Texas A&M, and that was enough to secure the three point victory. The quarterback play for Auburn wasw a big issue in the last game though. Auburn was led by Robby Ashford and he completed 6 of his 13 passes for 60 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Auburn is averaging 22.9 points while their defense is giving up 28.8 points per game. 

On the other side of this matchup is Western Kentucky who comes into this game with a 7-4 record and they have gone 8-3 against the spread. In the last game agianst Rice the offense was elite scoring 45 points, and that led to the 35 point victory. Austin Reed completed 23 of his 33 passes for 377 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. Reed hasn't gotten enough attention for what he has been able to do this season. Markese Stepp finished with eight carries for 64 yards. Western Kentucky is averaging 37.9 points while their defense is giving up 21.2 points per game. In this game they are going to need a big game from Reed.
