The NC State Wolfpack and Louisville Cardinals face off on Saturday in a college football showdown at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was NC State that secured the 28-13.

On the other side of this matchup is Louisville who sits with a 6-4 record and they have gone 6-4 against the spread. In the last game against Clemson, Louisville scored only 16 points and that led to the defeat. Malik Cunningham left the last game early with a shoulder injury and it’s unclear if he’s going to be able to go in this game. Brock Domann came in and completed 13 of his 23 passes for 175 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Louisville is averaging 28.8 points while their defense is giving up 20.6 points per game.
NC State is 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games against a team with a winning record. Louisville is 4-0 against the spread in their last four home games. The over is 4-1 in NC State’s last five games in November. The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings played between the two teams.
This is a hard game to pick because we don’t know the status of Cunningham. Even if Cunningham does play though, I do expect this game is going to be lower scoring. Cunningham has been inconsistent this season and I don't trust him. NC State’s last game finished 21-20 and that’s right around where this game is going to finish in terms of points.
