Florida State at Syracuse - 11/12/22 College Football Picks and Prediction

The Florida State Seminoles and Syracuse Orange face off on Saturday in an ACC college football showdown at the Carrier Dome. The home team has won the last four games played between the two teams. 

Florida State comes into this game with a 6-3 record and they have gone 6-3 against the spread. In the last game against the Miami Hurricanes, the defense was elite giving up only three points and that led to the 42-point victory. Quarterback Jordan Travis completed 10 of his 12 passes for 202 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. The Seminoles are averaging 33.6 points while their defense is giving up 19.4 points per game. The defense was impressive in the last game and will need to be strong again here. 

On the other side of this matchup is Syracuse who sits with a 6-3 record and they have gone 6-3 against the spread. After a fast start to the season, Syracuse has lost three games in a row. In the last game against Pitt, the offense only managed nine points and that led to the ten-point defeat. Quarterback Garrett Shrader missed the last game because of an injury and he’s questionable for this game. Carlos Del Rio-Wilson completed 8 of his 23 passes for 120 yards, zero touchdowns, and zero interceptions. Sean Tucker had 10 rushes for only 19 yards, and the running game needs to be better here.
