The Colorado Buffaloes will play the Oregon State Beavers in a PAC-12 Game on Saturday night at Reser Stadium in Corvallis, Oregon.

The Colorado Buffaloes are 1-5 (1-2) this season after they defeated California by a score of 20-13 in overtime in their last game. Colorado out gained Cal by a total of 328-297 and was able to overcome three turnovers in the win. The Colorado offense is averaging 14.5 points per game with 171.7 passing yards per game and 113.8 rushing yards per game. Owen McCown (questionable) has thrown for 600 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions for the Buffaloes this season. Deion Smith has rushed for 243 yards and one touchdown, while Daniel Arias has caught 18 passes for 295 yards and one touchdown for Colorado. The Colorado defense is giving up 38.2 points per game and 473.5 yards per game.

The Oregon State Beavers are 5-2 (2-2) this season after they defeated Washington State by a score of 24-10 in their last game. Oregon State raced out to a 10-0 lead and was able to dominate time of possession with their ground game. The Oregon State offense is averaging 31.6 points per game with 234.1 passing yards per game and 184.1 rushing yards per game. Chance Nolan is doubtful for this game with a head injury, meaning Ben Gulbranson will start again. Gulbranson has thrown for 616 yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions for the Beavers this season. Deshaun Fenwick has rushed for 356 yards and four scores, while Tre’Shaun Harrison has caught 32 passes for 454 yards and three touchdowns for Oregon State. The Oregon State defense is allowing 24.7 points per game and 359.6 yards per game.

Colorado is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games. The over is 5-1 in Colorado’s last 6 road games. Oregon State is 10-1 ATS in their last 11 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games. The under is 6-1 in Oregon State’s last 7 home games. The over is 5-2 in these two teams last 7 head to head meetings.

Colorado was able to finally get their first win of the season last week, while Oregon State won their second game in a row with a backup quarterback. Oregon State has played really well this season and should have no issues in this game. Colorado will be able to build off of their last game, but still have a long way to go to be able to win this type of game. With that being said, I like Colorado to keep it closer than people think.
