The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets and Duke Blue Devils do battle Saturday in a week 6 ACC college football game at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets look to get back to a .500 record. The Duke Blue Devils look to build on their 4-1 record.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have lost 5 of their last 6 home games. Jeff Sims is completing 56.6 percent of his passes for 841 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Nate McCollum and Malachi Carter have combined for 340 receiving yards and 1 touchdown, while E.J. Jenkins has 9 receptions. The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets ground game is averaging 148 yards per contest, and Hassan Hall leads the way with 260 yards on 44 carries. Defensively, Georgia Tech is allowing 29.6 points and 415.6 yards per game. Ayinde Eley leads the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets with 56 tackles, Keion White has 4 sacks and Charlie Thomas has 2 interceptions.

The Duke Blue Devils have lost 6 of their last 7 road games. Riley Leonard is completing 72 percent of his passes for 1,176 yards, 7 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. Jalon Calhoun and Eli Pancol have combined for 574 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns, while Jordan Moore has 22 receptions. The Duke Blue Devils ground game is averaging 200.8 yards per contest, and Jaylen Coleman leads the way with 308 yards and 4 touchdowns. Defensively, Duke is allowing 19 points and 373.4 yards per game. Darius Joiner leads the Duke Blue Devils with 41 tackles, Ja’Mion Franklin has 2.5 sacks and Brandon Johnson has 1 interception.

The Blue Devils are 3-13 ATS in their last 16 road games and 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall. The Yellow Jackets are 8-23 ATS in their last 31 home games and 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games overall. The under is 4-1-1 in Blue Devils last 6 games overall. The under is 6-1 in Yellow Jackets last 7 games overall. The Blue Devils are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings.

This line is a bit confusing to me as the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets were considered one of the worst teams in the country and now all of a sudden perception changes after a win over Pitt. The Duke Blue Devils are far and away the more balanced and proven team, and they’re one of the more explosive offensive teams in the country. Even with last week’s win, Georgia Tech is a train wreck offensively and isn’t much better on defense. You could argue this line should be steeper. Give me Duke and the small chalk.
