The San Jose State Spartans and Wyoming Cowboys face off on Saturday in a Week 5 college football showdown at War Memorial Stadium. When these two teams faced off in 2021 it was the Spartans that secured the 27-21 victory.

On the other side of this matchup is San Jose State who sit with a 2-1 record overall and in the last game against Western Michigan the offense scored 34 points on the way to the 28 point victory. Under center for San Jose State is Chevan Cordeiro and in the last game he completed 17 of his 28 passes for 250 yards and two touchdowns. Kairee Robinson also had a strong game rushing 13 times for 81 yards and two touchdowns. San Jose State is averaging 23.7 points while their defense is giving up 15.7 points per game.
San Jose State is 14-5-1 against the spread in their last 19 games against a team with a winning record. Wyoming is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games against a team with a winning record. San Jose State is 4-0 against the spread in their last four meetings against Wyoming.
San Jose State getting Chevan Cordeiro this offseason was a huge boost for this team,and they are going to find success again in this game. The Spartans defense has also been elite this season giving up 15.7 points per game. Wyoming is going to really struggle to score here, and that will be the difference as San Jose State is going to get the job done.
