The Miami-Oh RedHawks will fight with the Kent State Golden Flashes at Dix Stadium in Kent, Ohio for the MAC East Division title and play in the conference championship game. Both teams enter this game at 6-5 on the year and tied for first in the MAC East with 5-2 records in conference play.

The RedHawks are 21st in the nation in passing, 86th in rushing, and 71st in scoring at 27.5 points per game. The defense ranks 41st against the pass, 44th against the run, and 35th in points allowed at 21.6 points per game.
Quarterback, Brett Gabbert has thrown for 2013 yards with 20 TDs and just four interceptions.
Kent State University beat Akron on the road by a score of 38-0 in their last time out. They allowed the Zips just 188 yards of total offense in the win and easily covered a 13.5-point spread in the blowout win. QB Dustin Crum had 110 yards rushing and two touchdowns against the Zips.
Dustin Crum has had a solid season at QB, as he has thrown for 2469 yards with 13 touchdowns to two interceptions, while rushing for 560 yards and 10 TDs.
The Kent offense has been very good all year, especially their ground game which ranks 3rd in the nation in rushing.
The Golden Flashes are 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record and are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following an ATS win. The RedHawks are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Kent State.
This is going to be a close game as the two teams are playing for a lot. Kent State has been good but that has been against weaker opponents. The RedHawks have a real shot here to win the MAC East so I’ll take them in this one.
