The 23rd Clemson Tigers won their 4th straight game and improved to 8-3 on the season after defeating the 10th ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons, 48-27, this past Saturday. Clemson had no trouble slowing down the high-powered Wake Forest offensive attack and cruised to victory after a 2-yard TD run by Kobe Pace gave the Tigers a 38-13 lead late in the 3rd quarter. Clemson outgained Wake Forest by a 543-406 margin and forced 3 turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Tigers was Kobe Pace who had 191 rushing yards & 2 TD on 24 carries.

Clemson will be without Joseph Ngata who is out indefinitely with a foot injury.
Defensively, Clemson is holding their opponents to an average of 16.4 ppg on 317.7 total yards per game (213.5 passing yds/g; 104.3 rushing yds/g).
The South Carolina Gamecocks improved to 6-5 on the season after defeating the Auburn Tigers, 21-17, this past Saturday. South Carolina trailed by a 14-0 margin after the 1st quarter, however, the defense was solid the rest of the way and the Gamecocks were able to pull ahead for good after a 7-yard TD reception by Josh Vann with 4:57 left in the 3rd quarter. South Carolina was outgained by Auburn by a 379-306 margin and forced 1 turnover in the victory. Leading the way for the Gamecocks was QB Jason Brown who completed 10 of 15 passes for 157 yards, 3 TD, & 1 INT.

The Tigers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 November games & 15-7 ATS in their last 22 road games. The Gamecocks are 5-11-1 ATS in their last 17 games overall & 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a straight up win.
South Carolina is coming off an impressive win against Auburn, however, this Clemson team is starting to finally live up to the talent they have on that roster and I’m having a hard time seeing the Gamecocks offense having much success against a Tigers defense that ranks 8th in scoring defense & 14th in rushing defense. Clemson has had issues on offense at the beginning of the season, however, the running game has looked good as of late and as the Tigers have averaged 38.0 ppg over their last 4 games, I think Clemson does enough in this one to win by 2 TD and cover this spread. Good Luck!
