Defensively, Arizona State is holding their opponents to an average of 21.2 ppg on 322.6 total yards per game (196.0 passing yds/g; 126.6 rushing yds/g).
The Oregon State Beavers snapped a 2-game losing streak and improved to 6-4 on the season after defeating the Stanford Cardinal, 35-14, this past Saturday. Oregon State was outstanding defensively against Stanford and had no trouble securing the victory after a 67-yard TD reception by Trevon Bradford gave the Beavers a 21-0 lead early in the 3rd quarter. Oregon State outgained Stanford by a 475-230 margin and won the turnover battle by a 3-0 margin in the victory. Defensively, Oregon State is allowing their opponents to average 26.3 ppg on 388.1 total yards per game (245.2 passing yds/g; 142.9 rushing yds/g).
The Sun Devils are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games as a road favorite and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. The Beavers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.
Arizona State certainly is a talented team and have a dangerous one-two punch in the backfield with Rachaad White & Jayden Daniels, however, Arizona State just hasn’t looked like the same team on the road this season (2-2 record) and must be a bit concerned that they just allowed Washington to put up 30 points on their defense. Oregon State has been outstanding at home this season which includes an impressive 8-point victory over Utah and as I think the Beavers offense will be able to keep this game close, I think the play here is to take Oregon State and the points. Good Luck!
