The Arizona State Sun Devils will travel to Reser Stadium to take on the Oregon State Beavers this Saturday night in College Football action.

The Arizona State Sun Devils won their 2nd straight game and improved to 7-3 on the season after defeating the Washington Huskies, 35-30, this past Saturday. Arizona State trailed by a 17-7 margin going into halftime, however, the Sun Devils were outstanding offensively in the 2nd half and took the lead for good after 21-unasnwered 4th quarter points gave Arizona State a 35-24 lead with just :32 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Arizona State outgained Washington by a 376-266 margin and forced two turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Sun Devils was RB Rachaad White who had 184 rushing yards & 2 TD on 32 carries to go along with 5 receptions for 53 yards.

On the season, Arizona State is averaging 30.8 ppg on 424.5 total yards per game (211.9 passing yds/g; 212.6 rushing yds/g). Offensively, Arizona State has been led by RB Rachaad White who has 869 rushing yards & 14 TD on 146 carries to go along with 34 receptions for 339 yards & 1 TD. QB Jayden Daniels has completed 66.9% of his passes for 1969 yards, 8 TD, & 8 INT while also rushing for 538 yards & 5 TD. The top receiving threats for the Sun Devils have been Ricky Pearsall (36 rec, 421 yards, 2 TD), Curtis Hodges (20 rec, 373 yards, 2 TD), & LV Bunkley-Shelton (25 rec, 357 yards, 2 TD).

Defensively, Arizona State is holding their opponents to an average of 21.2 ppg on 322.6 total yards per game (196.0 passing yds/g; 126.6 rushing yds/g).

The Oregon State Beavers snapped a 2-game losing streak and improved to 6-4 on the season after defeating the Stanford Cardinal, 35-14, this past Saturday. Oregon State was outstanding defensively against Stanford and had no trouble securing the victory after a 67-yard TD reception by Trevon Bradford gave the Beavers a 21-0 lead early in the 3rd quarter. Oregon State outgained Stanford by a 475-230 margin and won the turnover battle by a 3-0 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Beavers was QB Chance Nolan who completed 19 of 25 passes for 257 yards & 2 TD while also rushing for a TD.

On the season, Oregon State is averaging 34.0 ppg on 444.6 total yards per game (215.9 passing yds/g; 228.7 rushing yds/g). Offensively, Oregon State has been led by RB B.J. Baylor who has rushed for 1049 yards & 12 TD on 176 carries. QB Chance Nolan has completed 63.2% of his passes for 2016 yards, 16 TD, & 8 INT. The top receiving threats for the Beavers have been Trevon Bradford (31 rec, 501 yards, 4 TD), Tre’Shaun Harrison (22 rec, 308 yards, 2 TD), & Champ Flemings (11 rec, 241 yards, TD).

Defensively, Oregon State is allowing their opponents to average 26.3 ppg on 388.1 total yards per game (245.2 passing yds/g; 142.9 rushing yds/g).

The Sun Devils are just 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games as a road favorite and 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game. The Beavers are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-0 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Arizona State certainly is a talented team and have a dangerous one-two punch in the backfield with Rachaad White & Jayden Daniels, however, Arizona State just hasn’t looked like the same team on the road this season (2-2 record) and must be a bit concerned that they just allowed Washington to put up 30 points on their defense. Oregon State has been outstanding at home this season which includes an impressive 8-point victory over Utah and as I think the Beavers offense will be able to keep this game close, I think the play here is to take Oregon State and the points. Good Luck!
