Bowling Green will look for its second conference win of the season when it travels to Miami (Ohio) on Tuesday night. The Falcons upset Buffalo two weeks ago and fell back to earth when they were blown out by Toledo last Wednesday. Miami has won three of its last four games, and is 5-5 on the season.

The Falcons have only been able to grab 3 wins through the 10 games this season. Bowling Green is currently in last place in the MAC East with a 3-7 and one win in 1-5 MAC play. The Falcons have struggled offensively, ranked No. 117 in yards per game at 319.9 yards.

In their last game, Toledo took a 35-10 lead into halftime and did not look back. Senior quarterback Matt McDonald has completed 60.7% of his passes for 2,192 yards and 11 touchdowns to seven interceptions. He went 11 of 20 for 65 yards against Toledo last week.

The RedHawks currently are tied with Kent State atop the MAC East. If they are to win over Bowling Green Tuesday, they will face Kent State the following week which will determine the East division champions.

Offensively, the Miami (Ohio) RedHawks have averaged 418.3 yards per game which is ranked 57th in the nation. Sophomore quarterback Brett Gabbert has completed 60.9% of his passes for 1,786 yards and 18 touchdowns to three interceptions.

Last week the RedHawks easily covered the 7.5 point spread against Buffalo.

I think the RedHawks get the win here as conference standings are important but the Falcons could keep this close. They are off of a blow out loss and will look to keep things close in a game they will likely lose.
