Marshall trailed by a 13-7 margin early in the 2nd quarter, however, the defense was solid the rest of the way and the Thundering Herd was able to pull away after closing out the game scoring 21 unanswered points. The Blazers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 conference games. The Thundering Herd are 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games after allowing more than 200 yards rushing in their previous game and 7-21 ATS in their last 28 games as a home favorite.
Marshall comes into this game on a 4-game wining streak, however, they haven’t played the toughest of competition and this is still a team that has struggled at times this season in losses against East Carolina & Middle Tennessee. UAB has been solid defensively this season, especially against opposing rushing attacks as they rank 24th in rushing defense, and as I think the Blazers will be able to force Grant Wells in making a few turnovers, I think UAB keeps this one close and at worst, cover with the points. Good Luck!
