The Missouri Tigers will travel to Sanford Stadium to take on the top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs this Saturday afternoon in College Football action.
The Missouri Tigers improved to 4-4 on the season after defeating the Vanderbilt Commodores, 37-28, this past Saturday. Missouri had no problems generating offense against Vanderbilt and was able to pull away late after a 2-yard TD run by Tyler Macon gave Missouri a two-possession lead with 2:29 left in the 4th quarter. Missouri outgained Vanderbilt by a 502-380 margin and forced 1 Vanderbilt turnover in the victory. Leading the way for the Tigers was RB Tyler Badie who had 254 rushing yards & 2 TD on 31 carries.
On the season, Missouri is averaging 34.8 ppg on 454.0 total yards per game (279.5 passing yds/g; 174.5 rushing yds/g). The top-ranked Georgia Bulldogs improved to 8-0 on the season after defeating the Florida Gators, 34-7, this past Saturday. Georgia did an outstanding job of keeping the Gators off the scoreboard and had no trouble securing the victory after going into halftime with a 24-0 lead. Georgia was outgained by Florida by a 355-354 margin, however, did force 3 Florida turnovers in the victory. Leading the way for the Bulldogs was RB Zamir White who had 105 rushing yards & 1 TD on 14 carries.
On the season, Georgia is averaging 37.9 ppg on 420.6 total yards per game (227.9 passing yds/g; 192.8 rushing yds/g). The Tigers are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games on grass and 0-8 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 10-4 ATS in their last 14 November games.
Missouri has had a plenty of success on the offensive end this season as they average almost 35.0 ppg, however, that offense hasn’t been as explosive against some of the tougher SEC team and it’s hard to imagine the Tigers have much success on the road against an historically good Georgia defense. Georgia is an underrated offensive team as they rank 14th in scoring offense and as I just see the Bulldogs dominated this game on both ends of the field, I think they win this won by 40+ and cover this large home spread. Good Luck!
