The Texas State Bobcats dropped to 2-4 on the season after being defeated by the Troy Trojans, 31-28, this past Saturday. Texas State had some solid success against the tough Troy defense and held a 28-24 lead entering the 4th quarter, however, Troy was able to take the lead on a 33-yard pick-six midway through the 4th quarter and the Bobcats offense could answer down the stretch. Texas State outgained Troy by a 387-370 margin and lost the turnover battle by a 4-0 margin in the loss. Leading the way for the Bobcats was QB Brady McBride who completed 22 of 32 passes for 279 yards, 3 TD, & 3 INT.

Texas State and Georgia State have both really struggled defensively this season and after watching both offenses find success in their previous games, I think this game screams the Over. Texas State ranks just 114th in scoring defense while Georgia State ranks just 119th and as I think both teams score in the 30’s in this one, I’m taking Over. Good Luck!
