The Ohio State Buckeyes and Indiana Hoosiers face off on Saturday in a Big Ten college football showdown at The Rock. When these two teams faced off in November of 2020, Ohio State won 42-35.

Ohio State comes into this game with a 5-1 record overall and the only loss came in their second game of the season against Oregon. In the last game against Maryland the offense was elite scoring 66 points, and that led to the blowout victory. Ohio State is averaging 48.5 points per game while the defense is giving up 20.5 points per game. CJ Stroud is the best player for Ohio State having thrown for 1,699 yards, 18 touchdowns, and three interceptions. TreVeyon Henderson has also had a big season rushing for 612 yards and nine touchdowns.

On the other side of this matchup is the Indiana Hoosiers who had high expectations heading into the season, but they have really struggled winning only two of their six games. The Hoosiers are averaging only 22.3 points while the defense is giving up 26.8 points per game. In the last game against MIchigan State, they were competitive, but they only scored 15 points total, and that led to the five-point defeat. Jack Tuttle got the start in the last game throwing for 146 yards, zero touchdowns, and two interceptions. In this game, if they want any chance to come away with the victory, the offense is going to need to be a whole lot better, or this will be a long game.

Ohio State is 7-0 against the spread in their last seven games in October. Indiana is 7-3 against the spread in their last ten games overall. The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings. Ohio State is 6-2 against the spread in the last eight meetings in Indiana.

Indiana’s offense is awful, and they are going to struggle to keep this game close because of the lack of scoring. In this game, look for Ohio State to put up at least 42 points, and Indiana is going to have no answer. Back Ohio State to win this game and cover the spread.
