The UCLA Bruins and Washington Huskies face off on Saturday in a Pac 12 college football showdown at Husky Stadium. When these two teams last faced off in 2018, it was Washington that won 31-24.

The UCLA Bruins come into this game with a 4-2 and the biggest issue has been the inconsistency. Two games ago UCLA lost to Arizona State 42-23, but in the last game against Arizona, they bounced back winning 34-16. UCLA is averaging 35.17 points per game while the defense is giving up 26.5 points per game. Under center for UCLA is Dorian Thompson-Robinson and he has thrown for 1,236 yards, 11 touchdowns, and two interceptions. Running back Zach Charbonnet is also having a big year rushing for 556 yards and seven touchdowns. In this game, UCLA needs the defense to step up, and try to make life tough on Washington’s offense.

The Washington Huskies come into this game with a 2-3 record and they are coming off a very disappointing loss in the last game. Oregon State scored 27 points while the offense for Washington could only manage 24 points. Washington is averaging 24.8 points while the defense is giving up 19.6 points. This is a team that has an inconsistent offense, and they probably need to score at least 27 points to get the job done. Under center for Washington is Dylan Morris who has thrown for 1,262 yards, seven touchdowns, and six interceptions. Three different players have also rushed for 1000 yards.

UCLA is 4-0 against the spread in their last four games against a team with a losing record. Washington is 1-4 against the spread in their last five home games. The favorite is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings. The over is 4-0 in the last five meetings.
