The TCU Horned Frogs will travel to Memorial Stadium (Norman, OK) to take on the 4th ranked Oklahoma Sooners this Saturday night in College Football action.

The TCU Horned Frogs snapped a 2-game losing streak and improved to 3-2 on the season after defeating the Texas Tech Red Raiders, 52-31, this past Saturday. TCU had no trouble putting up points against the Texas Tech defense and had no trouble securing the victory after going into halftime with a 35-10 lead. TCU was outgained by Texas Tech by a 558-498 margin, however, won the turnover battle by a 1-0 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Horned Frogs was RB Kendre Miller who had 185 rushing yards & 3 TD’s on 12 carries.

On the season, TCU is averaging 38.4 ppg on 446.2 total yards per game (209.8 passing yds/g; 236.4 rushing yds/g). Offensively, TCU has been led by QB Max Duggan who has completed 64.7% of his passes for 1003 yards, 9 TD, & 2 INT. Duggan is also a threat with his legs as he has 186 rushing yards & 2 TD’s on 53 carries. The top receiving threats for the Horned Frogs have been Taye Barber (12 rec, 205 yards, TD), Derius Davis (14 rec, 180 yards, TD), Quentin Johnston (12 rec, 170 yards, 2 TD), & JD Spielman (8 rec, 125 yards, 2 TD). Leading the way for the Horned Frogs backfield has been the duo of Zach Evans (74 att, 586 yards, 5 TD) & Kendre Miller (34 att, 302 yards, 6 TD).

Defensively, TCU is allowing their opponents to average 28.0 ppg on 429.2 total yards per game (223.2 passing yds/g; 206.0 rushing yds/g).

The 4th ranked Oklahoma Sooners stayed undefeated and improved to 6-0 on the season after defeating the 21st ranked Texas Longhorns, 55-48, this past Saturday. Oklahoma trailed by a 41-23 margin late in the 3rd quarter, however, the Sooners offense led by backup QB Caleb Williams, was able to fight back to tie the game midway through the 4th quarter and the Sooners won it on an improbable 33-yard rushing TD with just :03 seconds left in regulation. Oklahoma lost the turnover battle by a 2-1 margin, however, did outgain Texas by a 662-516 margin in the victory. Leading the way for the Sooners was RB Kennedy Brooks who had 217 rushing yards & 2 TD’s on 25 carries.

On the season, Oklahoma is averaging 41.2 ppg on 471.5 total yards per game (285.8 passing yds/g; 185.7 rushing yds/g). Offensively, Oklahoma has been led by RB duo of Kennedy Brooks (79 att, 535 yards, 6 TD) & Eric Gray (55 att, 282 yards). QB Spencer Rattler has completed 74.3% of his passes for 1371 yards, 10 TD, & 5 INT, however, was replaced in the 2nd half last week by Caleb Williams who completed 16 of 25 passes for 212 yards & 2 TD’s in relief. The top receiving threats for the Sooners have been Marvin Mims (19 rec, 400 yards, 2 TD), Michael Woods II (22 rec, 219 yards, 2 TD), Mario Williams (23 rec, 208 yards, 2 TD), & Jadon Haselwood (21 rec, 182 yards, 2 TD).

Defensively, Oklahoma is allowing their opponents to average 23.8 ppg on 356.8 total yards per game (265.8 passing yds/g; 91.0 rushing yds/g).

The Horned Frogs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, however, are just 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Sooners are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games in October and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Big 12 games.

Oklahoma is coming of an incredible comeback against Texas and early reports out of Norman looks like Lincoln Riley is going to stick with Caleb Williams at QB which in my opinion is the correct move as Spencer Rattler just hasn’t looked the part this season. TCU has some talent on the offensive end, however, the defense has looked the part this season and as I think the Caleb Williams led offense will be able to put up 40+ in this one, I’m taking Oklahoma to cover this double-digit home spread. Good Luck!
