The road team is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 meetings. The under is 6-1 in the last 7 meetings.
Motivation and current form are two big factors when handicapping bowl season, and Tulane went from being AAC contenders and looking at a really solid bowl game to losing five of their last six games and playing an extremely early start in a throwaway bowl. It's hard to find another team entering bowl season in lousier form, and that's without mentioning Tulane's struggles on the road. The Southern Mississippi Golden Eagles finished the season cold as well and has an offense that can turn the ball over left and right. Still, if forced to pick this game, I'd take the free touchdown with the Golden Eagles. I want nothing to do with Tulane right now.
