The South Florida Bulls and UCF Knights meet Friday in week 14 college football action at Spectrum Stadium as they close out the CFB regular season.
The South Florida Bulls look for a win here to snap a three-game losing streak. The South Florida Bulls have split their last four road games. Jordan McCloud is completing 56.7 percent of his passes for 1,313 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions. Blake Barnett and McCloud have combined for 16 touchdown passes and eight interceptions. Mitchell Wilcox and Randall St. Felix combined for 595 receiving yards and seven touchdowns while Bryce Miller has 20 receptions. The South Florida Bulls ground game is averaging 163.7 yards per contest, and Jordan Cronkrite leads the way with 686 yards and four touchdowns. Defensively, South Florida is allowing 28.5 points and 385.3 yards per game. Dwayne Boyles leads the South Florida Bulls with 68 tackles, Antonio Grier has four sacks and KJ Sails has three interceptions.
The UCF Knights look for another win after winning five of their last seven games. The UCF Knights haven’t lost a home game since December of 2016. Dillon Gabriel is completing 59.4 percent of his passes for 3,123 yards, 25 touchdowns and seven interceptions. Gabriel has 11 touchdown passes and five interceptions in his last six games. Gabriel Davis and Tre Nixon have combined for 1,857 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns while Marlon Williams has 39 receptions. The UCF Knights ground game is averaging 215.1 yards per contest, and Otis Anderson leads the way with 658 yards and five touchdowns. Defensively, UCF is allowing 24.3 points and 353.5 yards per game. Nate Evans leads the UCF Knights with 92 tackles, Brendon Hayes has 6.5 sacks and Aaron Robinson has three interceptions.
The Bulls are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games, 6-14 ATS in their last 20 conference games and 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record. The Knights are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 conference games, 0-4 ATS vs. a team with a losing record and 1-7 ATS in their last 8 games overall. The Bulls are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 meetings in Central Florida and 7-3 ATS in their last 10 meetings. The over is 4-0 in Knights last 4 home games. The under is 4-1-1 in Bulls last 6 games overall.
The South Florida Bulls are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a double-digit underdog. The UCF Knights ae 1-5 ATS in their last six games as a double-digit favorite. I know this is a rivalry game and what not, but the South Florida Bulls are a joke and are averaging just 11.3 points during their three-game losing streak. With that said, the UCF Knights aren't exactly blowing teams out anymore, as they nearly lost to Tulane last week and it seems like the whole aura around this program the last three years is starting to fade. I don't want to back USF as much as the next guy, but this is a ton of points to lay with a UCF team that's showing chinks in the armor.
