The Miami RedHawks and the Ohio Bobcats will meet up on the college football field Wednesday.

Miami comes in here at 4-4 so far. Miami has fallen to Iowa, Cincinnati, Ohio State and Western Michigan but tallied wins over TN Tech, Buffalo, Northern IL and Kent State otherwise.

In the win over the Flashes, Miami QB Brett Gabbert put up 178 yards with one TD, and Tyler Shelton managed 148 yards rushing. Tops in receiving there was Dominique Robinson with 80 yards on three grabs.

Over on the Ohio side, they’re 4-4 as well. The Bobcats have lost to Pitt, Marshall, Louisiana and NIU, but taken wins over Rhode Island, Buffalo, Kent State and Ball State.

In the win over Ball State, Ohio QB Nathan Rourke had 131 yards and a pick, and also led the receivers on 127 yards and two TDs. Isiah Cox had 92 yards from five receptions there.

The RedHawks are 4-0 ATS in their last four in November and 6-1 ATS in their last seven conference games. Miami is 12-5 ATS in their last 17 overall and 12-5 ATS in their last 17 on turf.

Meanwhile, the Bobcats are 1-4 ATS in their last five conference games and 1-4 ATS in their last five overall. Ohio is 1-4 ATS in their last five on turf and 0-4 ATS in their last four home games.

Miami wasn’t overly dominant against Kent State, but they chipped in enough offense across the course of the game and held the Flashes on defense well enough to get a 23-16 win. That makes three victories over four games.

Ohio has three wins in their last four as well, and they’ve scored 79 points over their last pair. I’m going to stick with the Bobcats on the cover here. Should be a pretty good matchup, though.
